Private rooms and categories

Private rooms are visible only to the people invited into them: for management conversations, staff scheduling, or a specific engagement.

  1. Create a room with New room and set it to private, or make a whole category private.
  2. Add members explicitly. Private rooms never appear in the sidebar for anyone outside them.
  3. Use a private category like Management to keep a set of rooms restricted together.
  4. Members removed from the workspace lose private-room access immediately.

The lock icon in the sidebar marks private rooms and categories.
