Mentions, presence & pins
@mention a teammate and it lands in their activity feed. See who is online right now. Pin the messages that matter so store-wide info stays visible instead of scrolling away.
Store Huddle is embedded in Shopify admin, synced with your store, and built around the things a store team actually coordinates: orders, stock, tasks, and shifts.
Categories map to how your team is actually organized: General, Management, Virtual Assistants, Fulfillment, Customer Support, Marketing, Development, whatever fits. Lock a category down to the right role, and give each room a job, right down to a private clock-in room per team for shift check-ins.

Low-stock products and high-risk orders are detected the day they happen and surface in two places: the Store pulse dashboard everyone sees, and the Activity feed of whoever needs to act.
No setup. Alerts work the moment the app is installed, with nothing to configure before they are useful.
Actionable. Turn an alert into an assigned task with a deadline in two clicks.
In context. The product or order is attached, so nobody is off hunting through admin tabs mid-conversation.
Turn any message into a task in two clicks, or start one fresh with the New task button. Every task has an assignee, a due date and time, a status, and a priority, and the card stays right where the conversation happened instead of living on a separate board.

“Hold this one, size swap before it ships.”
4 orders · $612 lifetime · No open disputes
Pull a real order, draft order, product, or customer straight into a message. The card shows the current state, totals, payment, fulfilment, so the conversation is about the order itself, not a screenshot that goes stale the moment someone updates it in admin.
Admin, Manager, Staff, Fulfillment, Virtual Assistant, and Developer ship out of the box, and you can define custom roles on top. A role decides which rooms someone sees and what they can manage, not just whether they are in the workspace.

Email notifications for when you are away from admin, tuned to everything, or mentions-only if you would rather hear about it when someone actually needs you.
No separate login, no second app to convince the team to open. Store Huddle authenticates through your Shopify session and lives in the sidebar of the admin your team already uses all day.
Search rooms in the sidebar to jump straight to the right one by name. Once you are in a room, search within it to find a message, order number, or task without scrolling back through history.
Drop a photo of damaged stock or a packing slip straight into the thread, attached to the order or task it belongs to, so the context stays with the conversation.
Acknowledge a message with a reaction instead of a reply that buries the thread: handy for “seen it,” “on it,” or a quick thumbs up on a task update.
8:04am, a hoodie drops to low stock. Store Huddle already knows: the alert lands in #daily-ops and on the Store pulse dashboard before anyone has opened Shopify admin. A manager turns it into a task in two clicks, assigns it to fulfillment, and sets a same-day deadline.
9:20am, an order is flagged high risk. Whoever picks it up attaches the order card straight to the reply, so the conversation is about order #1024 itself, not a screenshot of it. A customer support teammate is @mentioned, and it shows up in their activity feed even though they are heads-down in a different room.
Noon, the fulfillment task is marked done, the status updates live on the card, and the thread stays as the record of what happened and when: searchable later by room, order number, or task, without anyone digging through admin tabs or a separate spreadsheet.
None of that needed a rollout meeting. The rooms, roles, and alerts were already there from the first install, and every person only sees the categories their role unlocks.
No. Store Huddle runs inside Shopify admin through your existing session, in the browser you already use to run the store. There is no separate download, desktop app, or second login to hand out.
Yes. Lock a category down to the roles that should see it, or make an individual room private and add members explicitly. Private rooms never appear in the sidebar for anyone outside them, and custom roles let you go beyond the six built-in ones.
In-room search covers messages, order numbers, and tasks, so you can find a specific mention of order #1024 without scrolling back through history. Room search in the sidebar jumps you to the right room by name.
There is no self-service export button in the app today. If you need a copy of your workspace data, email support@storehuddle.com before you uninstall and we will get it to you.
Not currently. We do not connect to helpdesks, 3PLs, or external chat tools today; the roadmap is driven by specific requests, so tell us if one would unblock your team.
Start on the Free plan and invite up to 5 people while you work out whether it fits. When you are ready to bring the rest of the team in, move to a paid plan and add seats as you go: seats added mid-cycle are prorated.
Install from the Shopify App Store. The workspace is ready the moment it loads, and every plan starts with a 7-day free trial.
