- The trial starts when you move to a paid plan and covers the full feature set of that plan.
- Settings → Plan and billing shows exactly when charges begin and the current amount due (during the trial: $0.00).
- Cancel from settings before the trial ends and nothing is charged.
- Development stores run on Shopify test billing: subscriptions there never create real charges.
Worth knowing
No card is added anywhere. Billing is entirely through your Shopify account.
